UMass Women, Gender and Sexuality dept

This was first dept site I used the faculty publication list as image tiles, which really helps a perspective graduate student understand the culture of the dept through the foci of their faculty. This dept has a long and rich history on campus, so while I didn’t have time to reproduce each of their legacy PDFs, which needed to be converted or put behind a wall for the sake of accessibility, I was able to show them how to retain the historical authenticity of the department while maintaining accessibility. For their Newsletters I pulled an image of the first sheet of the PDF so that the reader can see, yes, this is a document from 1974, but the text is written out in HTML so that the content can be discovered.
